Dr. David R. Carter, born in London, England, has taught at the UK universities of St. Andrews and Southampton, and at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. He now works as a freelance writer and translator. He has published on psychoanalysis, literature, drama, film history, applied linguistics, literary theory and other topics.
